See or contact Roger Sperry for Character Coach information, or Bret Sutterley to learn more about Tree House Club.

“2 by 2 Adventures” | Tim and Bili Benson | Program Coordinators
This spring we are launching the 2x2 Adventure Ministry. This ministry is all about connecting with one another through recreation and spending time with God outside of our usual gathering times. We will be coordinating adventures such as hiking, biking, or attending a sporting event, just to name a few.
- We are looking for men to host/lead these activities. If you have a hobby, skill, or interest you would be willing to share with others, please reach out to Tim or Bili Benson.
- Are you interested in joining an activity? Watch for announcements in this newsletter, the church Facebook page, and the weekly bulletin for instructions on how to sign up for events.  Bili and I look forward to the opportunity to connect with all of you!

Christian Service Brigade

Where we don't separate the Men from the Boys

Deuteronomy 6:4-8 (NIV)
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
God wants all godly men to share their faith and the good things of God with the next generations. Christian Service Brigade(CSB) is not a kid’s club, it is part of Crossroads Men’s Ministry. Its a multi-year discipleship program designed to give a boy everything he needs to be a man of God. Today, more than ever, it’s vital that men be given a place to pass the torch to the next generation of men.
Studies show that boys emulate the men they see, whether on television or in the home. Now more than ever, boys need heroes. CSB equips men to be positive role models as they point boys to Jesus. It’s also designed for fathers, grandpas, uncles, or a church appointed mentor, to spend quality time with the boy(s) that God has placed in their care. Boys learn real world skills as well as spiritual ones that they can apply throughout their entire lives.
Events are fun and contain a Bible emphasis – field trip to an airport, Father/Son Team Days which include a climbing wall, zip line, BB gun range, Blow Darts, and Sling Shots with paint balls, a fishing trip to Lake McSwain, and an annual campout at Pinecrest. It takes many dads and men from the church to make CSB a success. I am very thankful for the Men’s Ministry that stands with me, and all the men involved with CSB

 Bright and Keen for Christ,
Chief Ranger Mike Esau
