Pastor Search Team

Crossroads is actively searching for a new pastor and has recruited the help of members within the body of the church to assist with this search.  Below you will find bio's for each member of the Pastor Search Team.

Christie Dalton

I have been attending Crossroads for most of my life.  My husband, Adam, and I even met at the church’s college group. I have been involved in many ministries throughout the years including Children’s ministries, Bible studies and College Ministries. We are currently in a Community Group with 6 other couples. I teach 3rd grade, Adam is a real estate agent, and we have two children: son, Parker (8) and daughter, Presley (5).  What I love most about our church is the inviting atmosphere. Everyone is very welcoming. New visitors are invited into the Community groups or can learn more about what we believe through Discipleship classes. We are also very family oriented, hosting many family events such as Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt and Movie Nights.

My wife Michele and I have two boys and one girl.  I am CEO of Living Soils Company where we focus on helping farmers grow nutrient-dense food through the use of biology.  We have called Crossroads our church home since we moved to Turlock in 2015.  We are involved in children’s worship and Sunday school and are also a part of a community group.  I have served on the elder board since the summer of 2020.  I love the new family I have been able to meet through Crossroads Church and am blessed to have such God-fearing influencers in my life.  Crossroads is a church that holds the Bible in highest regard as the true and inspired Word of God and I love that dedication to the Scriptures.

My husband, Matt, and I have two active boys, ages 10 and 5.  I’m an attorney and the Managing Partner and CFO for a local law firm.  I also serve as Board Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Children's Crisis Center of Stanislaus County, giving time to support the cause of providing safe homes for abused and neglected children.  Our family has been involved at Crossroads for approximately six years.  Matt and I both serve in several ministries to children.  Just recently I became the Women's Ministry Leader and am working on building a Women's Ministry team to continue to grow and expand Women's Ministry at Crossroads.  What I love most about Crossroads is the high priority given to learning and knowing the Scriptures in a way that inspires depth regarding the word of God.

I have been married to my wife, Randi, for over 40 years. We have three grown children and six grandchildren.  I am a Blue Diamond Almond farmer and also own an agricultural repair shop. My wife is retired from the California State University system and is in charge of our office. Both the ranch and repair shop are family owned and operated.  We enjoy camping, hiking, and traveling on our Harley Davidson.  Randi and I have been at Crossroads for almost 8 years and lead a community group together. On Sundays I lead a father and son ministry called Christian Service Brigade and also serve on the Men’s Ministry Leadership Team. One of my favorite ministries is to mentor young men, typically in their 30s. It is my passion to see older men in the church pass on their faith to the next generation.  Getting to see firsthand the caliber of spiritual leaders that we have at the church is what I love most about Crossroads.

Rita Nystrom

My history with Crossroads Church began in 1982 when my husband, Ron, and I moved to Turlock.  I was a new Christian at the time and the church is the place where I became part of a caring community, learned to study the Bible and serve using my spiritual gifts.  After 30+ years as an administrator in both church and denominational ministry, I retired in 2018. Ron and I currently lead a Community Group and I also love leading Bible studies when God opens the door to such opportunities.  We have two grown children and enjoy spending time with them and their spouses whenever possible.

My wife, Lindsay, and I have been married for over 10 years and have two children, Pre-K and 1st grade.  We own an Optometry office in Turlock and consider our work as ministry.  I have been involved at Crossroads since returning to the area in 2015 and quickly established a community of friendships.  At present, I spend time playing on our worship team, lead a community group, teach Crossroads Kids Church with my wife one Sunday per month and spend time with the Christian Service Brigade.  There are two things I especially love about Crossroads Church: (1) our Community Group and (2) the fact that we now have a single worship service plus regular “town hall” meetings that connect the 5 generations in our congregation, allowing us to move toward unity in the Gospel as we enjoy the worship of our Lord and Savior together.

My wife, Monique, and I have been married for 26 years and we have two kids, Jack (10) and Reagan (8).  I am the CEO of an IT solutions company headquartered in Turlock and serving clients throughout California.  Our family has been attending Crossroads for nearly 20 years.  In the last few years my focus has been serving as the Elder Chairman, teaching Discipleship 101 & New Members classes on Sunday mornings, and preaching from the pulpit on a handful of occasions.  I love that our church is filled with people who are passionate about the Bible, have a desire to reach the local community, and want to have an impact on the next generation.
